I’M NEW HERE

WHERE AND HOW TO START

WORDS FROM PASTOR ANDRE BYRD SR.

GREETING MESSAGE

Hello and welcome to our church website, it is no coincidence that you are here!  God planned this moment in your life and we are thankful that He has placed you here in your search for spiritual growth.

So now that you are here, what’s next?  The answer lies within you.  Just as accepting Christ as your personal Savior is a free-will decision; so is growing to know Him more, and selecting a place of worship.

WHAT TO EXPECT

General Information

As a new member of New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church, orientation classes have been set-up especially for you.  The New Members’ Class called “Pillars of Purpose’ as well as our courses prior to baptism are designed to cover the fundamental principles of the church from a biblical, spiritual and natural perspective

Faith Common Questions

What is Salvation?

God gave His Son Jesus Christ so that we could be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”          John 3:16

“..if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will  be saved.” Romans 10:9

Should I be Baptized?

Why should I be baptized?

It is a commandment of Christ:

“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

It is an outward symbol of an inward work:

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism in to death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also shall walk in the newness of life. Romans 6:4

Unifies Christians as members of the same body:

“Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.” Acts 2:41
